The Chettikulam and Anappankulam congregations of the Jaffna Diocese of the Church of South India (JDCSI) jointly organized a vibrant Children's Sports Meet under the leadership of Evangelist Bro. D. Neesakumar. The event was held at the Addappankulam Church premises and brought together children, parents, and community members in a spirit of fellowship and celebration.

The event was graced by personnel from the Sri Lankan Special Task Force, who participated as Chief Guests, adding significance and encouragement to the occasion. A variety of sports and recreational activities were organized for the children, creating an atmosphere of joy, enthusiasm, and healthy competition.

Parents extended their wholehearted support in organizing and conducting the event, contributing greatly to its success. The children and their families thoroughly enjoyed the day's activities, while past pupils also actively participated in the special programs, making the occasion even more memorable.

This successful event not only promoted sportsmanship and teamwork among the children but also strengthened the bonds of fellowship within the church community.

The members of Adappankulam Church recently met with Evangelist Bro. D. Nesakumar to discuss the ongoing ministries and future programmes of the church. The meeting provided an opportunity for fellowship, sharing, and planning for the spiritual and communal growth of the congregation.

On the same occasion, the church members joined hands with personnel from the Sri Lankan Security Forces in a Shramadana (community voluntary service) programme to clean and maintain the church premises. The church compound, which also serves as the premises for the preschool, was thoroughly cleaned and beautified through this collaborative effort.

அடப்பன்குளம் திருச்சபை உறுப்பினர்கள் அண்மையில் சுவிசேஷகர் திரு. டி. நேசகுமார் அவர்களைச் சந்தித்து, திருச்சபையின் தற்போதைய மற்றும் எதிர்கால நிகழ்ச்சித் திட்டங்கள் தொடர்பாக கலந்துரையாடினர். இக்கலந்துரையாடல், திருச்சபையின் ஆவிக்குரிய மற்றும் சமூகப் பணிகளை மேலும் வலுப்படுத்தும் நோக்கில் பயனுள்ள முறையில் இடம்பெற்றது.

அதேவேளை, அடப்பன்குளம் திருச்சபை வளாகத்திலும், முன்பள்ளி இயங்கிவரும் வளாகத்திலும் தூய்மைப்படுத்தும் சிரமதானப் பணி திருச்சபை உறுப்பினர்களும் இலங்கை பாதுகாப்புப் படையினரும் இணைந்து மேற்கொண்டனர். இந்தப் பணியின் மூலம் திருச்சபை மற்றும் முன்பள்ளி வளாகம் சுத்தமாகவும் அழகாகவும் பராமரிக்கப்பட்டது.

Rev. P. Sudhakaran, the Pastor-in-Charge of Adappankulam Church, together with Evangelist Bro. D. Nesakumar, visited the home of a member of the Church of South India, Adappankulam Congregation.

During the visit, they inquired about the well-being of the family, shared fellowship with them, and offered prayers for God's blessings, guidance, and comfort. The visit provided spiritual encouragement to the family and strengthened their bond with the Church community.

Such pastoral visits continue to play an important role in nurturing the spiritual growth of believers and fostering unity within the congregation.

A colouring competition was recently held at the Adappankulam Preschool, which functions under the Jaffna Diocese of the Church of South India.

The preschool children participated enthusiastically and showcased their creativity and artistic talents through their colourful drawings. Parents also took part in the event by encouraging and supporting their children throughout the competition.

The programme proved to be a meaningful and enjoyable activity, helping to develop the children's creativity, imagination, and self-confidence. The active involvement and cooperation of the parents greatly contributed to the success of the event and were highly appreciated.

A one-day special programme for Sunday School children was recently held at the Kalmedu Church under the Jaffna Diocese of the Church of South India.

The event was conducted under the leadership of Evangelist Brother Sam Sivalingam, who is serving at the church. The programme was facilitated by Brother Sulakshan, Regional Coordinator of the Northern Province for the Sri Lanka Children’s Gospel Union, who actively guided the sessions.

Reverend S. Daniel Mohan, church worker from Vishwamadu Church, also participated in the event and contributed to its success.

The programme aimed at promoting the spiritual growth of children, strengthening their Christian faith, and developing biblical knowledge along with good moral values and character formation. Various activities including Bible studies, group sessions, games, and interactive learning exercises were conducted to engage the children in a meaningful and enjoyable way.

Children who participated showed great enthusiasm throughout the programme, and it was widely appreciated as a valuable opportunity for their spiritual and personal development.

தென்னிந்திய திருச்சபையின் யாழ் ஆதீனம் கல்மடு திருச்சபையில் ஓய்வுநாள் பாடசாலைப் பிள்ளைகளுக்கான ஒருநாள் சிறப்பு நிகழ்வு அண்மையில் நடைபெற்றது.

அங்கு பணியாற்றும் நற்செய்திப் பணியாளர் அருட்சகோதரர் சேம் சிவலிங்கம் அவர்களின் தலைமையில் நடைபெற்ற இந்நிகழ்வில், இலங்கை சிறுவர் நற்செய்தி ஐக்கிய நிறுவனத்தின் வடபகுதி ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் சகோதரர் சுலக்சன் அவர்கள் வளவாளராகக் கலந்து கொண்டு நிகழ்ச்சிகளை வழிநடத்தினார்.

மேலும், விஸ்வமடு திருச்சபை ஊழியர் அருட்பணி எஸ். டேனியல் போகன் அவர்களும் இந்நிகழ்வில் பங்கேற்று சிறப்பித்தார்.

இந்நிகழ்வின் மூலம் பிள்ளைகளின் ஆன்மீக வளர்ச்சி, கிறிஸ்தவ வாழ்வில் நிலைத்திருத்தல், திருமுறை அறிவு மற்றும் நல்ல பண்பாட்டு வளர்ச்சி ஆகியவற்றை மேம்படுத்தும் நோக்கில் பயிற்சிகள் வழங்கப்பட்டன. திருமறைப் படிப்புகள், குழு நடவடிக்கைகள், விளையாட்டுக்கள் மற்றும் பல்வேறு செயன்முறை நிகழ்வுகள் ஊடாக பிள்ளைகள் பயனுள்ள அறிவையும் அனுபவங்களையும் பெற்றுக்கொண்டனர்.
