Mission

To strengthen and coordinate the Diocese's social, economic, agricultural, vocational, and community development ministries by fostering empowerment, good governance, partnership, and responsible stewardship, thereby responding effectively to the emerging needs of society in the spirit of Christ's love and service.

Responsibilities

The Board for Social & Economic Concern shall:

1. 1. Provide leadership and policy direction for all industrial, agricultural, vocational, social, and economic development work of the Diocese.
   2. Supervise, monitor, and review the activities, governance, and performance of all institutions and projects placed under its jurisdiction.
   3. Promote consultation, collaboration, and mutual support among diocesan institutions and development projects.
   4. Ensure proper management, accountability, transparency, and financial stewardship of all institutions and projects under its care.
   5. Facilitate regular internal and external audits and submit audited accounts and annual reports through the appropriate diocesan structures.
   6. Assess development needs and initiate innovative programs that address emerging social and economic challenges within the Diocese.
   7. Recommend financial assistance and resource allocation for development ministries and projects.
   8. Formulate and review constitutions, policies, and by-laws for institutions and projects under its jurisdiction.
   9. Monitor and evaluate the impact of social and economic programs to ensure effectiveness, sustainability, and alignment with the mission of the Church.
   10. Submit periodic reports and recommendations to the Executive Committee and Diocesan Council concerning the Board's work and future directions.
