The 2026 Children’s Day and Teachers’ Day celebrations, organized by the God’s Love Project operating under the Visuvamadu Church of the Diocese of Jaffna, Church of South India (CSI), were held successfully on 9 October 2026 at 3.00 p.m. within the church premises. The event was presided over by the Director of the God’s Love Project, Rev. K. S. Joseph.

Mr. K. Anton Mariathas, a retired Zonal Director of Education, attended the event as the Chief Guest, while Mrs. A. Vijoswari, Child Rights Promotion Officer of Kandavalai, participated as the Special Guest.

A total of 347 children who benefit from the project, along with 200 parents, participated in the celebration. The speeches delivered by the distinguished guests centred on the theme, “Education Gives Light, Leads to the New.” The event highlighted the importance of education, the future development of children, and the vital role teachers play in guiding and shaping their lives.

Various cultural performances, group dances, and traditional folk dances were presented to showcase the artistic talents of the children. These performances brought joy and enthusiasm to everyone who attended. Following the cultural programme, prizes were distributed to the children in recognition of their talents and participation.

The event was successfully conducted with the aim of encouraging children to develop their abilities, appreciating the dedication of teachers, and creating a brighter future for children through education.

தென்னிந்திய திருச்சபை யாழ் ஆதீனம் விஸ்வமடு திருச்சபையில் இயங்கி வரும் கடவுளின் அன்புத் திட்டத்தின் (God's Love Project) ஏற்பாட்டில், 2026 ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கான சிறுவர் தினம் மற்றும் ஆசிரியர் தினக் கொண்டாட்டம் 2026 ஒக்டோபர் 9 ஆம் திகதி பிற்பகல் 3.00 மணிக்கு கடவுளின் அன்புத் திட்டத்தின் இயக்குனர் அருட்திரு கே. எஸ். ஜோசப் அவர்களின் தலைமையில் விஸ்வமடு திருச்சபை வளாகத்தில் சிறப்பாக நடைபெற்றது.
இந்நிகழ்வில் ஓய்வுபெற்ற வலயக் கல்விப் பணிப்பாளர் திரு. கே. அன்ரன் மரியதாஸ் அவர்கள் பிரதம விருந்தினராகவும், கண்டாவளை சிறுவர் உரிமைகள் மேம்பாட்டு உத்தியோகத்தர் திருமதி ஏ. விஜோஸ்வரி அவர்கள் சிறப்பு விருந்தினராகவும் கலந்து சிறப்பித்தனர்.
இந்நிகழ்வில் திட்டத்தின் பயனாளிகளான 347 சிறுவர்களும் 200 பெற்றோர்களும் பங்கேற்றுச் சிறப்பித்தனர். “கல்வி ஒளியைக் கொடுக்கிறது; புதிய பாதைக்கு வழிகாட்டுகிறது" (Education Gives Light, Leads to the New) என்ற கருப்பொருளை மையமாகக் கொண்டு விருந்தினர்களின் உரைகள் இடம்பெற்றன. கல்வியின் முக்கியத்துவம், சிறுவர்களின் எதிர்கால வளர்ச்சி மற்றும் அவர்களை வழிநடத்துவதில் ஆசிரியர்களின் பங்கு ஆகியவை இந்நிகழ்வின் மூலம் வலியுறுத்தப்பட்டன.
சிறுவர்களின் கலைத்திறன்களை வெளிப்படுத்தும் வகையில் பல்வேறு கலாசார நிகழ்ச்சிகள், குழு நடனங்கள் மற்றும் பாரம்பரிய நாட்டுப்புற நடனங்கள் இடம்பெற்றன. இந்நிகழ்ச்சிகள் பங்கேற்ற அனைவருக்கும் மகிழ்ச்சியையும் உற்சாகத்தையும் அளித்தன. கலைநிகழ்வுகளைத் தொடர்ந்து சிறுவர்களுக்குப் பரிசுகள் வழங்கப்பட்டன.
சிறுவர்களின் திறமைகளை ஊக்குவிப்பதோடு, ஆசிரியர்களின் அர்ப்பணிப்பைப் பாராட்டி, கல்வியின் வழியாக சிறுவர்களுக்கு ஒளிமயமான எதிர்காலத்தை உருவாக்கும் நோக்குடன் இந்நிகழ்வு சிறப்பாக நடைபெற்றது.
சிறுவர்களின் வளர்ச்சிக்கும் கல்வி மேம்பாட்டிற்கும் அர்ப்பணிப்புடன் பணியாற்றும் தென்னிந்திய திருச்சபை யாழ் ஆதீனம் விஸ்வமடு திருச்சபையில் இயங்கி வரும கடவுளின் அன்புத் திட்டம், அன்பு, பராமரிப்பு மற்றும் கல்வியின் வழியாக சிறுவர்களின் எதிர்காலத்தை வளப்படுத்தும் தனது பணியைத் தொடர்ந்து முன்னெடுத்து வருகின்றது.
